What we collect, and what we don't.

This notice covers this website only. It describes what happens when you ask for early access. The Akowè application is a separate matter with its own consent and privacy documentation, which you receive before you use it.
Who we are
Akowè is a product of Akowe Health Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 17460552, registered office 82a James Carter Road, Mildenhall, Suffolk, IP28 7DE. Akowe Health Ltd is the data controller for the information described here. You can reach us at info@akowe.ai.
What this site collects
Nothing at all, unless you fill in the early-access form. There are no cookies, no analytics, no tracking pixels and no third-party requests on this site.
If you submit the form we receive your name and email address, optionally your profession and a short message, and the time you sent it. Those two are the only fields we need: the name is so an invite, a consent form or a licence key can be addressed to you rather than to an email handle. Profession helps us prioritise which clinical templates to build first. The message box is limited to 500 characters.
We do not ask for, and you should not send us, any information about a patient. That applies to the message box in particular. If we receive anything of that kind we will delete it rather than keep it.
Why we are allowed to hold it
Our lawful basis is consent: you asked us to contact you. You can withdraw that at any time and we will delete your record, with no consequence to you.
What we do with it
We email you when early access opens. If we write again it will be because something about the product has genuinely changed, not because a schedule said so. That is the whole purpose.
- We do not sell, rent or trade your details.
- We do not add you to a marketing automation sequence.
- We do not use your details to build advertising audiences.
Who else sees it
Your details are held in confidence under the UK GDPR and are seen only by the people who need to act on your request. We use established hosting and email providers, who act as processors on our behalf and may process data outside the UK under the safeguards their terms provide. They are not permitted to use your details for anything of their own.
How long we keep it
Until you ask us to delete it, or until 24 months after your last contact with us, whichever comes first. After that the record is deleted.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of what we hold, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to withdraw consent. Email info@akowe.ai and we will act on it within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
If we change what we collect, we will change this page and update the date at the top.
